Intrepid Egg-Hutners

Our Easter Egg Hunt this year was chilly, but not rained out. Our egg-hunters were pretty evenly matched in their skills.

But we might have to work on hiding the eggs a little better next year...

New time-keeper

The boys had their club swim meet yesterday, and Frédéric got to try out his time-keeping skills!

Noah turned 8 this year. He decorated his own cake to share at school:

And his cake for home, too:

He was pretty happy with a Lego Minecraft set, a small Lego Star Wars set, and some little toy soldiers.

Little fishes

Benjamin had another swim meet yesterday.

No medals this time, but he swam 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly, 100m freestyle, and 400m freestyle, and improved his times in every single race!

Noah is still not allowed to compete yet despite having passed his competition test, because only kids born in 2007 and earlier are allowed. But since he gets to warm up with the team and play in the shallow pool during the whole meet, he doesn't mind too much! 

We call this picture "Butterfly is hard!"

One day of winter!

France finally realized it had just about skipped over winter this year, so we got a mini-blizzard just to let us know it hadn't totally forgotten.

The boys would have been happier for more snow, but we hope they'll see some in the mountains soon.
