Gala joined our family 12 years ago when she was 18 months old. For the past year, she's been suffering with cancer. With heavy hearts, we had to make the difficult decision to let her go yesterday.

We had a great time welcoming in the new year this week with friends. Activities included board games galore, eating lots of delicious food, playing ping pong at the ping pong club, going for a walk, and learning to make pains au chocolat.

After a long weather-, schedule-, and instructor-availability-induced hiatus, Noah finally got to fly again today. In the bigger plane, because the two others are out for an engine swap or something. He flew to Albert, then back over Beauvais to Soissons.
